#93 The Illusion of Duality

July 8, 2025

"He who has realized the Self in the Heart has transcended the dualities and is never perplexed." ~ Ramana Maharshi

As a physical human being doing life in this 3rd dimensional incarnation, we all accept without hesitation the concept of separation and duality. We all look different, sound different, have different likes, talents and tastes. We have different beliefs, ideas and ideals. Even our religious and spiritual guidelines are different. It’s pretty plain to see and for the most part, we can’t really disagree. This difference between beings rings of separatism. However, there are things in our physical world that we all feel. They include the emotions of love, happiness, hate and fear to name a few. We also know without a doubt that we experience the dualities of day and night, hot and cold, wet and dry, empty and full,  and yes and no. Again, to name a few. This is the world we’ve chosen to explore. It’s designed specifically for our learning and growth. It also shows itself as being linear and sequential in space and time.

This is all well and good, but it’s not the whole truth. I think it might be time to open the blinds a bit more. All beings, all dimensions and all time periods are interconnected. Nothing is independent, and it should be understood that all things are related to each other. Segmentation of history, of events, of lifetimes or of anything else, is a device that is used to keep people alienated from the Truth… their Truth. Linking history and lifetimes together to show the interconnection of events, beings and Souls over thousands and even millions of years provides an understanding of how everything, ultimately, is related. Understanding the multidimensional nature of such a universe, inclusive of your Soul’s journey and its projection into the many lifetimes, including you, that it experiences, brings you closer to Truth just as it brings you to the awareness that from a certain perspective, there are no accidents.

The universe is multidimensional and consists of twelve what we shall call “universal dimensions.”  Each universal dimension vibrates at a specific frequency, and what is visible in one dimension may not be apparent or visible in another dimension. This is particularly true in that higher dimensional levels, in general, can see and experience lower dimensional levels, but lower levels have great difficulty “seeing” higher dimensional realms. Thus you personally might exist as a certain level of the third universal dimension, but you may not have direct awareness of fourth, fifth, sixth or higher universal dimensional beings living their lives in a timeline and dimension outside of your own, though be assured that they are generally aware of you, even if they are not fully engaged with you or your reality. Similarly, you have awareness, to an extent, of the first and second universal dimensions, limited though it is into its projection into your reality in the form of the plant and mineral kingdom. You see these beings, but you have no concept that in addition to having a limited physical presence in your third universal dimension reality, they may be existing in other dimensions as well, leading full lives in a manner unknown to you presently.

This is where our concept of duality and separation begins to look a little murky. I can almost hear your wheels spinning with a fog of doubt hanging or just maybe, a sliver of well… what if?

Okay, so I just stuck your toe in the pool of possibilities for your human imagination to ponder on. It’s barely the tip of the iceberg in the nature of reality. There is so much more, but I firmly believe that so many of you who have been following any of my blogs or books, are ripe for more. Coming into your own Truth, the Truth of who you really are and your place in the cosmic mix is most relevant at this point in time. This includes the all-important concept of a God, or higher power that superimposes itself over it all.

Since this is just a simple blog, and not a book, I will leave it here. Perhaps the next blog will expand a bit deeper… if you’re ready. Remember, there are no accidents. And like your wonderful mind with its thirst for more, your soul has an appetite too.
