#94 Spiritual Power
“You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet… ---Psalm 8:6
If your life is not what you want it to be, do not despair. Just take your discontent as a signal it’s time to make some changes. The power to choose your life experience lies within you!
For those that have gotten to know me, you know I’m not a “religious” person, but rather a spiritual being having a human experience. I live in that deep space that explores the nature of reality. That being said however, our Bible, one of many references relative to the mysteries of life shares a truth that you may or may not have come across. In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said, “all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” This statement isn’t exclusive to Jesus the man … it is relevant to the consciousness of everyone, everywhere.
The authority has been given to you over the “heaven” of your inborn divine potential and the “earth” of your manifest world. Your mind has access to the one presence and power that is Creator/Source, or God. The deepest valleys, the widest horizons, and the highest peaks of human potential are within your reach. You own the power to change your outlook, your behaviors, or anything else you choose if you first claim your dominion and authority.
Your life is a literal reflection of the choices you’ve made because you incarnated into this physical reality as a creator, be those choices good, bad or indifferent. God is not responsible since you were endowed with the power of free will. You can turn right, or you can turn left. Each turn has something for you to see and learn. You can even turn around and go backwards, but that’s not were the light of life is. Go forward with the knowledge of your spiritual power. Your might is beyond your belief.
Today is my 74th birthday. As I reflect on my journey to now, with all the trials, tribulations, victories and losses, I own them all. I am thankful for them all because I see the lesson and growth in the experiences. I have been marvelously blessed throughout. It amazes me to no end as my road continues to move forward. I believe with my whole heart that the good that I have now as come as a result of my daily gratitude for everything and everyone who has graced my path. Such beauty and love from so many. I am a spiritual being and this incarnation has been awesome!
