#96 Onward Into The Unknown
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” …… Walt Disney

As I sit here this day piecing together this month’s post, it’s bittersweet. A little over 3 years ago, after an emotional life altering event, I left my hometown in Upstate NY for a beautiful and peaceful place in Upstate South Carolina. It’s been awesome and I have been a blessed man. In that time, I have been further blessed, and my life has given me yet another opportunity to experience even more. More in love, and more in opportunity. So, at 74 I am moving yet again. Still in South Carolina, but with new surroundings and a soulmate to share it with. Who would have thought? Life can still be an adventure.
While packing for this move, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on the trail I’ve blazed since childhood. Not only in physical moves, but in relationships, trials and tribulations, victories, and celebrations. So many memories. So many people, and so many experiences! And you know what? Everything and everyone that has graced my life has done so in a synchronistical and timely fashion. From a spiritual perspective, there have been no mistakes, and I have no regrets. It’s all about the experiences and the soul lessons I’ve come to understand and accept.
With that being said, why should I fear moving onward into the unknown? If I have been blessed to live another day, there’s no reason why I can’t trust the universe with this next chapter of my life. I’d have to say it’s done a pretty good job thus far. Sure, at my age I’d like to sit back and relax with my reading, writing and a little traveling. But it looks like I may have a little more exploring and learning ahead of me yet that looks like work, but with a partner it truly is an adventure.
I’ve learned so much in my 74 earth years in this incarnation. I’ve learned that unless and until you awaken to who you really are, you don’t really know what you don’t know. Life is a literal unfolding of a pathway you designed before you even set foot on the planet. By “you” I mean your higher self, your soul. As I have taught you before, you are a multi-dimensional spiritual being experiencing physical life in the 3rd of 12 dimensions of reality. And each of those dimensions include 12 sub-dimensions. Holy moly… what a surprise! We are literally cosmic co-creators. We are immortal beings who are guided, divinely loved and never, I mean never alone. We are God particles. Fragments of All That Is. We don’t even die for heaven sakes… not really. We’re spirit, energy actually, and energy can only be transformed. I’ve transformed; that’s a fact. I’m more heart centered.
I’ve learned that life as we know it here on earth is for all intense and purpose an opportunity to learn and experience from a perspective called physicality. We use duality and separation as tools in the experience. We use time and space as a playground for that experience. We share that time and space with others who come and go in a timely fashion to add texture and flavor to our mission and purpose. And most importantly, what I’ve learned is to be grateful for it all. Even the seemingly “bad” or “hurtful” times. Because if you really look at it, you’re still here and you’ve grown to live another day. Not only that, but if you’ve awakened, you’ll realize that it’s all good. Because it’s all God! Just stop and think on that.
With that, I will move onward into my unknown, unafraid and trusting the universe and a loving God for adventures that will enhance my soul. It is my birthright and privilege to expand my own earthly sojourn. Always with soulful gratitude.
….And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:20
