#97 Self Discovery
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes" - Marcel Proust.

This month finds me in yet another new location. Still in South Carolina, but about 40 miles east of where I lived for the last 3 years. As many may be able to attest to, physically moving provides a dichotomy of emotions, difficult but exciting. On top of being exhausting especially in one’s senior years. Before I left my previous location, just for fun I reached back in my past and counted the amount of homes and places I’ve experienced in this incarnation at this point in my life. I believe this is the 15th dwelling I’ve experienced so far. And, by the grace of God, I’ll be doing it one final time next year. This time across the country to Phoenix Arizona. Hence, my earthly sojourn can come to a peaceful close.
Actually, the introspection of reaching back into my past opened a plethora of memories as I watched my growth both physically, mentally and emotionally. So many experiences, so many people coming and going in and out of my awareness. Each one is a teacher of some kind, leaving breadcrumbs of lessons for me to garnish at some point of readiness. We don’t often realize it at the time of impact, that even the troubling and difficult times had a purpose and meaning. Our job is to find the lesson and learn from it. That’s called soul growth.
Life isn’t just a race to get to point A or point B, but rather a journey that gives us a variety of experiences that provide nourishment for soul growth. We don’t see this in the early years of life, but hopefully, over time, this concept becomes clearer to us. When you come to see your life from a deeper perspective, something interesting is also taking place. You are raising your consciousness and vibrating at a higher frequency bringing you more in line with your cosmic or spiritual roots. We can now see our individual lives from both the physical and spiritual viewpoints. A spiritual being, experiencing a slice of life from an earthly dense setting that may seem to comes to a close, but yet continues to flourish just beyond that mysterious veil. Personally, I find this so much more comforting, especially in later life.
The most rewarding aspect of all this is that through this self-discovery we can actually see that it is happening not only to us, but to so many others as well. We, as a species are collectively becoming aware of our connection to All That Is, or God. Everything, and everyone is rapidly evolving in consciousness. Time and space as we know it is also vibrating at a higher rate, so much so that the days seem to blend into one another as we ask ourselves, where did the time go? Infeed, time does fly.
So, no matter how many times you have “moved” physically in life, take heart that you’ve also moved spiritually as well. Your soul has collected thousands of earthly experiences and you as a third-dimensional being, have already gained fourth- dimensional insight as we as collectives prepare to ascend into fifth-dimensional reality in coming incarnations. Everything is changing and evolving, from your very soul, to the planet it chooses to occupy. There’s not anything in particular one needs to do for this transition beyond expanding your awareness of life and being in a state of gratitude for all you’ve experienced. Relish your life. It’s all good.
